For the past two years, I’ve been volunteering to photograph National Adoption Day. This year, I’ve decided to give back in a bigger way partnering with Colorado Kids Belong to provide families in the foster community discounted sessions.

National Adoption Day celebrates how courts and communities come together to finalize thousands of adoptions of children in the foster care system all over the U.S. Adoptive parents and families share their stories and journeys – a process that is not for the faint of heart. For the past two years, I’ve had the honor of volunteering to photograph National Adoption Day with Arapahoe County. This blog post captures the real life and emotions as families come together to celebrate and document their extraordinary journeys.
