Josh & Sharone’s Halloween Wedding at Kiwanis Community House in Cheyenne, WY | Colorado Wedding Photographer

A black dress, red roses, and a candle-lit ceremony created a spellbinding Halloween wedding day for Josh and Sharone. This enchanting celebration for this sweet couple was both romantic and delightfully spooky.

Couple’s portraits against the lake-view surrounded by Fall leaves for this beautifully, spooky bride and groom.

The Couple

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing this wonderful couple for a few years and watching them play music on stage together. Needless to say, I was honored to be asked to photograph their wedding.

Especially for a Halloween-themed wedding for the third time now — they might be my favorite!

(Check out Sean & Lauren’s Gothic Wedding here as well!)

The Venue

On October 31, 2024 — All Hallows’ Eve — The Kiwanis Community House was transformed into the perfect, gothic setting for this wedding.

  • Red and black rose petals everywhere.

  • The ring box was a coffin.

  • A neon ‘Til Death’ sign framed the couple’s table.

The Attire

Josh looked dashing in a classic black tuxedo accented with a deep burgundy, matching the bridal party in burgundy and black.

Sharone’s black wedding dress with beaded detail was accented with a black-laced veil and black-sheer arm cuffs. Not to mention her chunky black lace-up boots. She was a real-life Wednesday Addams.

Not to mention, yes, the bridal party joined in to the infamous dance from the Netflix series, Wednesday, which was absolutely perfect!

The Portraits

Out of all of the many photos commemorating their big day, these are some of my favorites — capturing the best smiles, little moments, and dark images that fit the uniqueness of their big day perfectly!
