Embracing femininity set the tone for this beautiful session.
Having taken Katie’s photos before, this session was particularly special as I knew it meant more to her than just a regular session. Sure, she was planning to use some of her photos as a part of her brand, but more importantly, these photos were for her.
It wasn’t just about taking a pretty picture.
This session was intentional about how she felt during the session – embodying her higher self, playing in her sensuality, tapping into her feminine energy to express this side of her that she was stepping more into.
Especially as business owners, it’s so easy to get caught up in our masculine energy, taking action, presenting ourselves confidently, speaking up, etc. But whether it’s in business or our daily lives, it’s important to recognize that all of us have both masculine and feminine energy, and finding our balance with both is the key to feeling fully expressed.
For Katie, this shoot was all about that – releasing the masculine energy she’s been so accustomed to, and allowing herself to express and play in her femininity.
